Prototype PCB Assembly Service

A fast 5–7 day turnaround, powered by MY700 Jetprinter technology — no solder screens required.

The technology

PCB prototyping with the MY700 Jetprinter

The MY700 Jetprinter replaces the conventional solder screen, doing all paste placement via an inkjet-style head. It needs only a Gerber file to produce an accurate pasting file, which can be individually modified for each component.

Files

Submitting files

The same files used to make solder stencils are used to create files for the MY700. Once created, the file can address individual pads to add or remove solder paste. Pasted pads are inspected by the MY700's camera and re-pasted if required — a perfect solder placement, every time, in a single pass.

Revisions

Prototype modifications

Because there's no physical stencil, design changes don't incur the cost of a new solder screen. Paste files can be modified per-pad, making iteration fast and inexpensive between prototype revisions.

Parts

Prototype components

Before a prototype can be manufactured, all components must be available. Components are generally supplied by the customer, though we can purchase on your behalf. Hard-to-obtain and long-lead-time parts should be supplied by the customer.
